Support Cascadia Wild Through Sponsoring a Trail Camera

Join our wildlife conservation efforts on the Mt. Hood National Forest by becoming a Trail Camera Sponsor. Your sponsorship directly supports the Wolverine Tracking Project, and provides you with access to all the amazing wildlife photos your camera captures.

The data gathered from these trail cameras plays an important role in understanding and protecting the unique biodiversity of the Mt. Hood National Forest.

How Your Sponsorship Helps:

Wildlife Monitoring: Your sponsorship enables us to maintain trail cameras strategically placed throughout the Mt Hood National Forest to capture vital information about our four target species, as well as other wildlife.

Research and Conservation: The data collected through these cameras has played an invaluable role in multiple research and management initiatives, contributing to a greater understanding of habitat preferences, populations sizes, and management needs, which contributes directly to the protection of these species. One important contribution our research has helped to inform is the Conservation Strategy for the Sierra Nevada Red Fox. See other findings here.

Community Engagement: The Wolverine Tracking Project has a unique approach that allows volunteers to collect data and become directly involved in field research. Sponsoring a trail camera allows you to also actively participate in our community science research, which helps connect people with nature in a meaningful way.
