The Wolverine Tracking Project is a community science project collecting data on rare carnivores and other wildlife in Mt Hood National Forest. Volunteers help with three types of surveys: Wildlife Camera Surveys, Winter Tracking Surveys, and Sierra Nevada Red fox Scat Surveys.

Cascadia Wild offers a variety of classes for people interested in increasing their knowledge of the natural world, developing their skills, and deepening their relationship with the world around us. Class topics include: wildlife tracking, botany and plant foraging, navigation, wilderness survival, and connecting with place.

internship
From reviewing the camera photos and tagging them in our database, reviewing scat survey maps and photos, coordinating with volunteers, to creating social media and newsletter content, and much much more, the intern gains excellent first-hand experience with a long-term, community science research project.
