GuruSurya Khalsa
Classes: Bird Language - Introduction to Bird Language, Bird Language Series
GuruSurya Khalsa has been studying bird language since 2008 and has been teaching bird language workshops through PCC, the Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge and METRO. Most mornings you can find her on her small porch in SE Portland tuning into the Song Sparrows, Crows and other “regulars”. Once a week, she’s often participating in a group bird sit in Mt. Tabor Park. GuruSurya is passionate about helping people recognize that their own state of being and awareness determines how much they experience while out on the land - or in the city!
Teri Lysak

Willem Larsen
Classes: Tracking - Pressure Releases: the Science and Interpretation of Soil Movement in Tracking
Willem Larsen has been tracking and teaching for over 25 years - from wildlife in local wilderness areas to Search and Rescue teams in the field. His goal is to keep tracking, the original science of our ancestors, alive and enrich it with modern physics and cutting-edge animal behavior science. He currently sits on the board of Rewild Portland, a family earth-arts non-profit.
