Cascadia Wild is a volunteer-run organization. We are currently looking for help in areas listed below. If you have another interest or skill that you would like to share, however, please feel free to contact us. We can't do it without your help! As our way of saying thank you, all of our regular volunteers receive special learning opportunities, including an invitation to special events put on specifically for our members. We are currently looking for volunteers in the following areas: Wolverine Tracking Project Trip Leaders The backbone of our organization is our volunteer trip leaders. If you are looking for an opportunity to improve your tracking skills, while giving back to the community, we will provide the training for you. Read more. Community Night Presenters Naturalist Skills Community Night provides a place where community members can share their skills. If you have a subject you wish to share, let us know. Read more. Marketing/Promotion Help is always needed in updating our display board, putting up fliers, sending out press releases, and emailing information to various calenders and websites. Organizing an outing Help organize an event for the ethnobotany club or for our members and volunteers. This could involve scheduling, communicating with participants, getting snack donations, or other related things. Bookkeeping We are looking for someone familiar with Quickbooks who can take over our bookkeeping. Time involved would be approximately 2-5 hours every 2-3 months. We would need at least a 1 year commitment. Graphic design We are looking for someone with design skills to help us design a flier for the Wolverine Tracking Project. Photography If you like to take pictures, we'd always love to have them for our website, Facebook profile, and other promotional materials. Computer support Everything is working fine for the time being, but we would love to know who we can go to in case something stops working. Capacity building We are looking for an experienced person to help us expand our membership program or help us develop other funding opportunities. If you have another skill you wish to share, please feel free to ask about it.
