Cascadia Wild Programs
Cascadia Wild offers a variety of nature education classes, study groups, stewardship activities, and informal lectures for people interested in increasing their nature IQ.
Ours is a professional, yet relaxed environment that encourages people to learn through exploration and fun. Topics include animal tracking, wild edible plants, mushrooms, wilderness survival, primitive crafts, wildflower hikes, wildlife surveys, and more. We combine modern ecological knowledge with practicing ancient ways of living with nature. Our goal is to give people a feeling of connection with the local outdoor environment. Our classes are hands-on, blending the scientific and the intuitive, and reflect our belief that the natural world is not just something to observe. It is something we participate in. Cascadia Wild can also provide classes for your group on request. Please contact us for more information. |
